Pretend you’re calling the owner of a roofing company. Introduce yourself and Go Hero, and try to get their interest in a free 15-minute strategy call. Finish with your best sales result so far.

Read this opener out loud, then answer the owner, who says: I’m not interested.

“Hi, is this Mike? Mike, this is [your name] with Go Hero. I’ll be honest, this is a cold call. Can I take 30 seconds to tell you why I called, and you tell me if it’s worth talking? … I was looking at Ridgeline Roofing. You’ve got 4.8 stars from 120 reviews, but when I searched ‘roof repair in Towson’, you weren’t in the ads at the top. Your competitor was. We do a free 15-minute strategy call that shows exactly what they’re running. Does Tuesday at 10 or Wednesday at 2 work better?”
